What is Crochet/Amigurumi?

Crocheting is a process of using a crochet hook and yarn to create loops which can be made into blankets, clothes and plushies. Amigurumi is a style of crochet used for making toys. This term originates from Japan and describes the cute-style of handmade plushies.

This was the best project I ever did! I’m a knitter and wanted to try my hand at crocheting but didn’t know how to start. I bought the turtle and my parcel arrived within 2 days. I followed the steps on YouTube. I have not stopped making these cute turtles in different colours. Next one I’m going to make is the little chick 🐣
